Bike Games for Your Kids

If you are riding your bike and playing a game, it takes a tremendous amount of coordination to do so. Your parents probably do not pay that much attention and do not realize the motions you must go through in order to beat your opponent.

There is a large selection of these bike games that are out there to pick from. Elementary games are available for the beginners. Flying Bike is a really cute game where you play a baby who has to fly his bike and shoot plumbers helpers at enemies that are trying to make him fall off his bicycle.

Another fun game is Stunt Bike Draw. You get to be the boss and draw your ramps for stunt jumping. If you have really complicated ramps and do lots of stunts, you will also get more points of course. Some games have obstacles you have to avoid hitting with your bike and abilities to be immune to certain things in the games or do special types of jumps.

Another game, BMX Ghost, involves beating a ghost to the end of the finish line. You are on a track racing and all of a sudden a ghost appears right beside you wearing an old outdated bike uniform. This might stop any bike racer if they saw this.

Of course, there are many obstacles that you have to overcome and some are related to the kind of bike you are riding on. There are mountain bike games to play with different trails and levels to pick from and falling rocks to watch out for. You have to go back and forth and try to beat the last high score for the game.

Games That Make You Smarter

There are several games available today at our disposal. Some of them are free and can be played online, while the others are not free and you can play them on your laptop, Xbox, PSP or any other gaming station or device that you may have. Games are also available in several different categories like puzzles, arcade games, adventure games, action games, sports games, brain training games, memory games, 3D games and much more. Now, all games are not beneficial for us, nor do they add to our development in any way. However there are some games that make us smarter.

Playing these games keeps our brain in top condition. A study conducted by the University of Michigan has proved that people who keep their brains engaged and challenge their brains regularly are able to improve their memory. Another study has proved that keeping your brain active reduces your chances of developing diseases like Dementia, Alzheimer’s etc., by 63%. In this article we have put together a list of great video games and online games that make you smarter.

Brain Age: Train your Brain in Minutes a Day

This game was created and popularized by Nintendo, the most famous video game company in the world. This game was especially created for its hand help gaming console, Nintendo DS. Brain age has a bundle of puzzles to challenge your brain ranging from Mathematical questions to Stroop tests to Sudoku puzzles.

• Stroop Tests: This simple game challenges your ability of focus. In this game, you have various names of colors in front of you on the screen and each word is written in a different color that does not correspond to its meaning. For example the color Black would be written using green color fonts. All that you need to do is challenge your brain to stay focused and read the color of the font in which the word is written and not the word. Try improving your scores with each attempt. Lets me warn you, it’s not as easy as it seems!

PlayStation Move Review

It feels like years since gamers first caught word of Sony’s PlayStation Move. Slowly over the months more and more information has been released, and now the PlayStation Move is upon us. I decided not to pick up the Move on launch day as I wanted to wait and see if anyone reported major issues with the peripheral. I had planned to wait for a potential price drop, but after a few days my patience was exhausted. I ended up spending around $200 on the Move starter bundle, a second controller, and EyePet for my daughter.

The starter bundle includes one standard Move controller, a PlayStation Eye camera, and Sports Champions. The controller fits very snugly in the hand. and the attached lanyard is made of a nice thick fabric with an adjustable locking mechanism. This son of a bitch won’t fall off your arm without some serious effort and I don’t foresee the lanyard ever breaking. I was also surprised at the quality of the included camera. Sports Champions includes 6 different games, so gamers will get hours of gameplay out of the starter pack alone.

After setting everything up I began to play, I was in awe of the PlayStation Move’s responsiveness. Everything runs at an amazing 1:1 ratio, so kudos to Sony for following through on their promises. All of the games on Sports Champions support up to four players, and I’ve had tons of fun with my friends and family with just this one game. Disk golf, which i had never even heard of before playing Sports Champions, was a blast and I would love to try it out sometime in real life. It’s tons of fun and includes multiple holes with obstacles such as water hazards, and trees, so players have to think about both the power and angle of their throw. Disk golf is an amazing example of the precision the Move controller provides.

Pinball Machine Purchasing

The best way to purchase pinball machines is to be sure you are working with industry experts that thoroughly go over the entire machine prior to delivering the pinball machine to your home or business. Buying on an auction website can be risky as you never know for sure just who you are dealing with. A good source for pinball machines is monkeys arcades. They have a huge selection to chose from.

Pinball machines have many electronic and moving parts that require a certain level of expertise in order to maintain and service them properly. The industry refers to the cleaning process as “shopping out”. If this process is done correctly it will include cleaning, waxing, and replacing rubber rings and burnt bulbs. A good shop job will also include touching up the paint on the machine as needed.

A complete restoral means that the machine has been completely restored to near original condition. In many cases the machine is far nicer than the original. Each machine is completely stripped down to the playfield level. If the job is done properly the playfield will be completely redone and in many cases the playfield of the machine will receive up to six coats of clear giving it a look that is far nicer than the original brand new machine. The restoral process is a labor of love and takes many hours to complete. The end result is a beautiful game with a price that goes with it. A restored pinball might cost between $6,000 and $15,000 depending on the title and collect ability.
